TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

OUTDOORS

I have many years of working (and playing) outdoors. I have taken students to far flung countries and supported expeditions closer to home.  Ensuring I have the right training to work with clients therapeutically outdoors is important, Joining the 7 month Certificate programme in Contact-Oriented Psychotherapy in a Nature Setting through the Heart Wood charity has given me the space to reflect on my own relationship with Nature and how I can support clients therapeutically in the outdoors.

  • Two-day Outdoor First Aid Certificate

  • Expedition Leader Training - UK: Lake District & Snowdonia

  • Expedition Leader Training - Atlas Mountains, Morocco

  • Certificate in Contact-Oriented Psychotherapy in a Nature Setting - in progress through Heart Wood

  • Eco-Therapy 'Walk & Talk' Training

  • MTA Hill and Moorland Leader Training - in progress

  • Member of the Institute for Outdoor Learning's Association for Outdoor Therapy
